On Thursday night, February 2, 2017, during the Global CemFuels Gala Dinner and Awards at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau, in Barcelona, our General Manager Eng. Marco Marta, was awarded as Project Manager of the Year .

Marco Marta, after giving the award, expressed his gratitude with such important recognition and understood to share and thank the AVE team and the company’s management, in particular the Director, Mr. José Bizarro. He also referred to the trust that his clients have given him, particularly SECIL and CIMPOR, as well as the suppliers, ending by saying that tomorrow he will do more and better, demanding from the market quality and competitiveness in alternative fuels, because that is the motivation of your day-to-day.

The General Director of AVE has held this role in the company for more than 10 years, having in the last 3 years developed a remarkable work with its internationalization in the European market. AVE in 2016 coprocessed more than 350,000 tons in the 6 Portuguese cement factories. 1/3 of these alternative fuels are of European origin.
